Jay-El came up in Chicago and has spent more than fifteen years turning raw sessions into finished records. His credits run from Jeremih, Cassie and Fabolous to Raekwon, with sessions alongside producers like Just Blaze and Teddy Riley.
Now based in the Atlanta area, he runs Knockturnal Sound as a hybrid studio: fast, detailed work in Pro Tools, finished through analog gear for weight and warmth. Every mix is built to translate, so it sounds as good in the car as it does in the club and on a pair of earbuds.
Independent artists get the same attention as major-label sessions. You work directly with Jay-El from the first upload to the final master.
